Autodiagger 100+ - Adapter for testing alternators controlled by ECU
The device identifies type of protocol, manufacturer of alternator and it’s ID or class plus it also offers DFM checking.
The user can fluently change voltage of alternator from 12 to 16 volts, the commanded voltage vs the measured voltage should be within +/- 0.3 Volts.
The new AD100+ is user updateable by way of android app, Check the PUBLICATIONS tab for a link to the APP
Protocols and systems supported:
- COM : This covers LIN1, LIN2 and BSS types, Also the new AD100+ covers 24v LIN ( Commercial vehicles and AG) and I-STars (Valeo starter generators). In thispPorotocol the AD100+ will display error messages such as mechanical, electrical, temperature reported by the alternator regulator
- SIG - Ford, Mazda, Land Rover and Volvo vehicles. plus the AD100+ will display FR feedback which is an indication of alternator current demand
- PD - Mazda type used from aprox year 2000, Mazda is phasing this system out
- RLO - Denso types for Toyota, Can be used with Mitsuibshi 4 Pin Alternators as well plus the AD100+ will display FR feedback which is an indication of alternator current demand
- L-RVC - General Motors plus the AD100+ will display FR feedback which is an indication of alternator current demand
- C - Denso and Mitsubishi plus the AD100+ will display FR feedback which is an indication of alternator current demand
- DFM - current usage in Lamp controlled alternators, the AD100+ will display DFM feedback which is an indication of alternator current demand
